What is the Selection Procedure for NDA???

NDA is National Defence Academy. It is the joint service academy of Indian Armed Forces. It is situated at Khadakwasla near Pune Maharashtra and it is the first tri-services Academy in all over World. The NDA exam has been released for the students who prepare for NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) two times in every year for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force. Generally in April and November. For joining of NDA, a candidate must appear in the entrance exam. For joining of NDA, one must clear a written test followed by SSB, medical and finally to be in the merit list.

Selection Process: The selection process is based on NDA Written Examand SSB Interview.

Written Exam: The written exam is the first step of the selection process. The NDA Written Exam is divided into two parts: first is Mathematics and the other is General Ability. As for the per subject, there is a time limit of 2 ½ hours. And for the mathematics the Maximum marks is 300, for general ability, the total marks will be 600. For every subject, the question paper is of objective type.

SSB Interview: After clearing the written exam you will be called for a 5 days interview process by SSB. It is the final step of the selection process.in the complete process of NDA Exam, this is one of the most difficult stages. The SSB round process will be continued for 5 days and in each day your mental abilities will be tested for the selection process.

Medical Exam: A medical exam by a Service Medical Board (SMC) the students who are Declared as fit by the Medical team only those are admitted to the National Defence Academy.
